Margaret C. Bennett, 83, 507 South 8th Street, Bismarck, North Dakota, died October 22, 1995, a t her residence.
Margaret Register was born on April 13, 1912, in Bismarck, the daughter of Sidney and Mary Jane (Falkenstein) Register. She was raised and educated in Bismarck, graduating from Bismarck High School in 1931.
She was married to Ira Harroun in October of 1935. Ira died in February of 1937.
Margaret was at one time employed at Fort Lincoln and also served with the Office of Price Administration (OPA) for five years during World War II. She was also employed by the Party Shop as manager and operator and later for KFYR. Margaret worked at Mid Dakota Clinic until her retirement in 1964.
She married Joseph "Vern" Bennett on March 16, 1963 in Bismarck.
She is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jane and Steve Griak of Minneapolis, Minnesota; stepdaughter and stepson-in-law, Donna and Richard Fergon of California; three grandchildren, Mike, Susan and Charlie Griak; two step-grandchildren, Robin and Tim Fergon; six nephews Dick, Winston, and Denis Register, and Eugene, David, and Edward Humphrey; cousins; and her many friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Vern; three brothers; and two sisters.

Margaret married Ira Harroun-[2160] [MRIN:699] in Oct 1935 in Bismarck, Burleigh Co., ND. (Ira Harroun-[2160] was born about 1910 in Unknown and died in Feb 1937 in Unknown.)
