Falkenstein, Barbara-[65]

  General Notes:

Barbara Falkenstine's parents are Jacob Falkenstein and Barbara Keeney. They married 27 march 1798 and had 13 children. Jacob born 15 Sept 1775 died 21 May 1859. Barbara born 1778 died 1863. Jacob's parents are Ludwig Falkenstein and Veronica Herman. Ludwid died young in 1779 in the Philadelphia area. His death record is at St. Michael's and Zion Lutheran church in Philadelphia. About 1783, after Ludwig's death, Veronica moved her family to York Co. Ludwig's father was Ludwig born Engslatt, Balinger Amst, Duchy of Wurtemberg Nov 19, 1706 who married Agnes Falckenstein. They came to America in 1746 with 10 children.
In 1870 on page 302 of the Springfield Twp census Peter is 32, Elizabeth 27, Samuel 5, Sarah 4, Mary 2 and John is 1. So Peter and Elizabeth married about 1864, however I think they may have had a Josiah born 8 May 1863 which would put their marriage in 1862.

Barbara married John Bupp Sr.-[955] [MRIN:260] about 1823 in Unknown. (John Bupp Sr.-[955] was born about 1803 in Unknown and died in Jan 1856 in Unknown.)
