Jacob was the last child born to his family while residing in York Co., PA. He moved with his fathers family to Preston Co. and remained on the big farm at Valley Point for the remainder of his life and was buried there along with his wife, Jane, and some of their children. The farm was known as the Greel Jenkins farm.
Jacob married Jane Forman-[75] [MRIN:15] about 1824 in Valley Pt., Preston Co., WV. (Jane Forman-[75] was born on 27 Dec 1804 in Unknown, died on 14 Sep 1882 in Valley Pt., Preston Co., WV and was buried in Sep 1882 on the Family Farm (Preston Co.).)
