William was raised in Hitchcock, OK. he attended OK Univ. and the Univ. of TX with degrees in Physics and Mathematics and worked in Avionics Systems Design for Chance Voight for 30 years.
he retired in 1983 and moved to Durango, Colorado with Mary Lou.

BILL FALKENSTEIN
With the senior play so recently presented, Bill suggests his humorous portrayal of Brooke, in “Little Women.” This is his first year in D.H.S. Besides being a member of the play cast and basketball squad, Bill was vice-president of his home room one semester. He is the son of Mr. And Mrs. Ray Falkenstein of Hitchcock, Oklahoma.
My father, Wilbur Rankin Smith graduated with him at D.H.S. and I happened upon the newspaper from that time with this info.
