  General Notes:

Edna and Cliff farmed SE of Wilton, ND. For a time they ran a grain elevator in a "town" named Still. I stayed with them for about a week as a child. If I remember right, Still had a grain elevator, one house and a small store that was operated by Edna. R.L.F.
Edna Richard

Edna Richard, 79, Bismarck, died May 10, 1993. Services were held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Sunne Lutheran Church, Wilton, with the Revs. Paul Schauer and A. L. C. Keller officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.
Visitation began at 2 p.m. at Boelter Funeral Home, Bismarck.
Edna Falkenstein was born Nov. 9, 1913, near Wilton, the daughter of Herman and Mathilda (Anderson) Falkenstein. She attended Bismarck High School and graduated from Wilton High School. She married Clifford Richard, Oct. 23, 1933. In 1944 they began farming in the Wilton area. In 1955 she moved to Bismarck, where she worked as a secretary at the First Lutheran Church and then for the Department of Public Instruction for 21 years. She retired in 1977.
She was a member of Still Homemakers Club and an active member of Sunne Lutheran Church and First Lutheran Church. She enjoyed cooking and traveling.
She is survived by her son and grandson, Willis and Jeremy, Winnipeg, Manitoba; one sister, Lucille, Kling, Bismarck; and one brother, Wallace, Bismarck.
In addition to her husband, Clifford, who died in 1954, she was preceded in death by her daughter and son-in-law, Claudia and Paul Johnson, and her granddaughter, Heidi, all in 1964; and one sister.

Edna married Clifford Richards-[354] [MRIN:74] on 23 Oct 1933 in Wilton, Mclean Co., ND. (Clifford Richards-[354] was born on 10 Feb 1908 in Unknown, died on 31 Dec 1954 in Burleigh Co., ND and was buried in Jan 1955 in Sunne Lutheran Cemetery, Wilton, ND.)
