General Notes:
In 1893 he visited Missouri and then Oklahoma at an Indian Reservation. While in Oklahoma he worked in a restraunt near the reservation and was involved in several scrapes with Indians over their thirst for whiskey. He returned to the east and while temporarily stopping at Collinsville, PA, he accidentally missed a train (The Duquesne Limited) which was later that day, wrecked with almost a total loss of life. He then went toGreensburg, PA, and later to Mt. Pleasent, PA where he married and worked as a Streetcar conductor. He then moved his family to Willimstown, MO where he bought a farm in 1911 and remained there until his death.
Joseph married Mary Elizabeth Lewis-[321] [MRIN:63] on 23 Feb 1904 in Mt. Pleasant, PA. (Mary Elizabeth Lewis-[321] was born on 20 Aug 1879 in Unknown and died on 14 Sep 1940 in Williamstown, MO.)
