  General Notes:

Roy was apparently a womanizer. He left her, and they never formally divorced. She then lived with her parents. In the 1900 census, that's where they are. Jenny was a school teacher, and decided to move across the state to St. Francis, KS in 1906. She married George John Indorf (7/13/1857 - 6/21/1934) from Germany. He was also a womanizer, but she stayed with him. Together they had 5 children:
1.Henry Ward Indorf (7/25/1907 - ?)
2.Fritz William Indorf (6/8/1909 - 11/10/1990)
3.Lydia Elizabeth Indorf (5/13/1911 - ?)
4.Gustav Grant Indorf (6/11/1913 - 4/21/1931) died of lockjaw after stepping on a rusty nail in the barn.
5.Arline Indorf (1917 - 5/14/1994)

Jenny and the family lived on the farm northwest of St. Francis and had always served the community. She was president of the Plum Creek Farm Bureau Unit for 5 years. She was also a Sunday school teacher and a teacher of the elder ladies at the Christian Church. The 3 children from her first marriage didn't last long in the house. They all moved out soon after the second marriage. Emma would never speak of her childhood because it was too horrible. Carl and Laurence never did, either.

Jennie married Roy L. Harrington-[2692] [MRIN:910] on 8 May 1895 in Unknown. (Roy L. Harrington-[2692] was born on 13 Sep 1872 in Unknown and died on 9 Apr 1946 in Unknown.)

Jennie also married George John Indorf-[2723] [MRIN:923] on 10 Nov 1906 in St. Francis, Kansas. (George John Indorf-[2723] was born on 13 Jul 1857 in Germany and died on 21 Jun 1934 in Unknown.)
