bullet  General Notes:

William had married Amanda E. (Denton) Easley. Have
not located their marriage record so far, however.

Don't know if you're at all interested, but if you are, you'll find Amanda, age
10/12, in 1850 in the household of Samuel Denton in Wapello County, Iowa. In
1860, after her father apparently has died, she's in some household (same
county) with her mother (since remarried in Illinois and with a son Amos), who
is living without a husband (did he die, too?). In the early 1860s, the family
is in Adair County, Missouri, where Amanda's mother apparently marries twice
and where Amanda marries Albert Easley in 1866. In 1870 you'll find Amanda and
family listed right after her mother and family (Nelson Grogan and co.) in
Macon County. Amos is listed as a Grogan, rather than as a Miller. By 1880
Amanda has married Wm. A. Falkenstein and is living in Adair County again.

I finally found a cem reference for Amanda yesterday; she died in 1890 and is
buried in Adair County. The 1850 date in the reference would be her birthdate,
however, not the date of death. And it was her MOTHER that was married all the
various times, not Amanda. I hadn't looked at this family for a long time and
my notes are buried in a stack somewhere, so I was unable to check what I'd
learned earlier.
